Fun Islamic School Crafts, Activities, and Projects

To Show Appreciation for Mom


Lower Elementary: Tea Time – Help mom rest and relax with a nice cup of tea.

What you will need:

• Teapot Printout (download below)

• Crayons

• Scissors

• Poem (read below)

• Glue

• Magnet Backing (should be sticky on one side and magnetic on the other)

• Hole punch

• One tea bag

• Small piece of ribbon

• Cardstock (optional) – to make the craft more sturdy you can mount the template on card stock before cutting.

IQRA’ INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION PARTICIPATES IN THIS WEEKEND’S
12TH ANNUAL ISNA EDUCATION FORUM
This weekend the Islamic Society of North America held its 12th annual education forum, where issues pertinent to Islamic education are addressed and reviewed. Over 500 educators from both full-time and weekend Muslim schools were in attendance.
Chicago’s own IQRA’ International Educational Foundation held a major presence at this year’s conference, being one of the leading champions of Islamic education in the world today. IQRA’ has played a leading role in the development of Islamic religious textbooks and educational programs for over a quarter of a century.

IQRA’ and Helping Hand USA

Helping Hand's team with Dr Abidullah Ghazi

IQRA’ International Educational Foundation was pleased to host visitors from the relief organization Helping Hand USA on Sunday, March 27th. The Helping Hand USA team had gathered in Chicago over the weekend for their annual organization assembly.

The visitors began to arrive at 5:30 in the evening and they were greeted by IQRA’s executive director, the esteemed Dr. Abidullah Ghazi. Following a brief tour of the IQRA’ facilities Dr. Ghazi shared IQRA’s vision and mission of worldwide Islamic Education with the guests. He also briefed them on the progress of IQRA’s current projects, which include a revamping of the entire program of Islamic education as well as online development and outreach. Dr. Ghazi discussed the common challenges that both Helping Hand USA and IQRA’ share, including the need for more financial support and involvement from the community. (more…)
