IQRA’ Founders in Boston, MA

Muslim educator and author Dr. Tasneema Ghazi, Executuve Director and co-Founder of IQRA Foundation, will be in Cambridge Massachusets from July 29 to 12 August. She will be available for educational consultation, conducting teacher’s training workshops and introducing a new genre of IQRA Islamic Educational Programs, InshaAllah. Islamic Centers and Islamic Schools can take advantage of her presence at no cost. Dr. Abidullah Ghazi returned this May as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Harvard’s prestigious School of Law. This post-PhD fellowship will last three months, during which time Dr. Ghazi will be living in Boston. Dr. Abidullah Ghazi, author and co-founder of IQRA’, will be available as an additional bonus. Harvard University was the birthplace of IQRA’. Now, Masha’Allah, IQRA’ has become The Apple of Islamic Education in terms of leadership, innovation and proficiency.

IQRA’ at 48th Annual ISNA Convention 2011

 

IQRA’ International Foundation participated in the 48th Annual ISNA Convention at the Rosemont Convention Center in Chicago during this past 4th of July weekend. The IQRA’ booth was bustling with activity as authors and booklovers exchanged their passion for learning with one another through our extensive line of children’s books, our newly activated eBooks, and our forthcoming Online Academy. The iPad giveaway and IQRA’ Book Club were attractions that the bazaar attendees could not escape! Ideas, explanations, critiques, stories, and even jokes were relayed as authors such as Dr. Assad Busool, Dr. Abidullah Ghazi , Huseyin Abiva, Habeeb Quadri, Najiyah Helwani, Saniyasnain Khan, and Dr. Tasneema Ghazi lined the stage for our “Meet the Authors” event. The hard-working and dedicated administration and staff at IQRA’ would like to thank everyone who came by the booth and made it a memorable experience for us all.

IQRA’ Summer Training at Al-Huda

IQRA’ conducted Summer Training at
Al-Huda Weekend School, Schaumburg IL

IQRA’ International Educational Foundation was pleased to be invited by Sr. Akhtar Khan, Principal of Al-Huda Weekend School in Schaumburg, IL, to conduct a summer educational training session for the school’s dedicated teachers.

 

On Sunday June 12, teachers (from grades pre-k – middle school) gathered to absorb the knowledge and experience of Dr. Tasneema Ghazi – a ph.D in reading and curriculum, long time educator, and executive director at IQRA’ International Educational Foundation.  Sr. Samana Khan, an experienced teacher and educator as well as the Program Coordinator at IQRA’ International Educational Foundation assisted Dr Tasneema Ghazi.
